2013-14 Data Results

2013-14 school performance and growth results are available below. Data provided is in the form of spreadsheets and provides summary information. Effective with the 2013-14 school year, North Carolina Accountability reporting (including School Performance Grades) will be available through the NC School Report Card. The NC School Report Cards are available after the February 5, 2015 State Board of Education (SBE) meeting. The NC School Report Card will allow users to do a variety of data analyses.

Data files are provided in a spreadsheet format designed for use in applications 2007 and newer. This format may not be compatible with programs designed prior to 2007 due to the size of the files. These files contain a pre-applied filter to help make finding specific information easier.

Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Priority, Focus and Reward Schools
Effective with the 2011-2012 school year, ESEA Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) School Status is no longer applicable. Under the ESEA Flexibility Waiver North Carolina now provides differentiated recognition, accountability and support for schools. In addition to accountability reporting through the accountability model website, a number of schools are recognized as Priority, Focus, and Reward Schools. 2012-13 READY Accountability Model Results

Effective with the 2012-13 school year, the State Board of Education adopted the READY Accountability Model which replaced the ABCs of Public Education. At the same time North Carolina made the transition to new assessments aligned to college and career ready content standards. The 2012-13 school year is the baseline for the new assessments’ data and the accountability indicators’ data. The performance results are reported with growth and targets (federal and state). The READY Accountability website provides detailed reporting at the state, district and school level. For more details regarding the accountability model please see the documents below.
